Converting Bulldog Square Jack From Manual to Powered

Question:

I have a Myco gooseneck boat trailer which i ise To pull my Cigarette boat. It has landing gear on it, but i dont Know the brand. I Would like to convert the hand crank to an electric one. Do you have any universal kits, or if i took a picture, could you help me find the right parts. The landing gear is welded to the trailer, and is painted so there is no luck finding a brand or part number on them.

Thanks for the photo; we do need to know the landing gear manufacturer to get you the right parts so what I recommend you do is contact the trailer manufacturer and inquire about the landing gear. If you let me know what you have I will be happy to find out what motor could be added.

Thanks so much for the updated information, it helps tremendously.

For your Bulldog Square Jack # BD182400 we have exactly what you need to turn it into a powered jack - the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit # BD1824200100.

This kit will give you 3" of lift per minute and includes a hex coupling for your tandem jack operation as well as a powered-drive assembly, torque stop tube with energy absorber, terminal box, weatherproof cover, and wiring harness and switch box.

The only thing to note is that according to Bulldog, if your jack was manufactured before May 2006, you will need the Replacement Gear Kit for Sidewind Jacks # BD500212 to complete the installation of the drive kit.
