Will Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118450 Fit My 2010 Chevrolet Traverse w/ Tow Package
Question:
Ive been told by my Chev dealer that unless my 2010 Chev Traverse came with the towing package from the factory, your wiring harness will not work, and that I would have to change the entire fuse block. Is this correct? My fuse block shows 2 ports for trailer wiring but they say that doesnt matter, they are not functional.

The item you selected, T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole, part # 118450, will work on all models of the Chevrolet Traverse. The # 118450 harness plugs in-line with your tail light wiring connectors and is not connected to the fuse block.
To install, you would just plug in-line with your tail light wiring harness and connect the ground wire to a clean metal surface on the vehicle frame. This harness will give you a 4-way connector at the rear of your vehicle. If you are needing a 7-way, you will also need to install the Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, part # ETBC7, in addition to part # 118450.
We actually installed the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole, part # 118450, on a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, I have linked the video installation for you to view. Also linked are instructions for the Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, part # ETBC7.
