Wiring Motorcycle Trailer With Separate Turn Signals

The Mice have not helped a bit........ Vehicle = 4 wire plug.... Black Hawk Motorcycle Trailer = 5 wire. What I do not want to do..... use a converter. Since the trailer wiring is badly chewed.... am wanting to remove most of the wiring except 4 - 6 inches at each light then rewire to match the vehicle plug. Lights on trailer consist of 1 Red trunk lid bar light. 2 red tail lights and 2 amber lights. Additionally, there is an Interior white light. Vehicle is a 2000 Prowler / Trailer is a Black Hawk Motorcycle trailer Willing to purchase 2 Red Lenses to replace the amber ones... Any and all advice / suggestions / schematic is greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance Ps... hope the photo comes thru....

Got it. Here is my recommendation. If your trailer has brakes, start with the Optronics 25 ft. Wishbone 5-Way Trailer Harness with 30" Ground and 5 ft. Blue Wire # A25W5B. If it does not have brakes, start with the 4-way # A35W42B. Both of these have far more wire than needed but will work and give you plenty of extra. Then I recommend using the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # C56196.

You will use the two brown wires to connect to your tail light running light wire. You will splice in the interior white light to one of those. Then you will match the remaining 3 wires with the same color wire on the converter. Then on the end of the converter with the separated signals, you will attach the yellow wire to the driver's side amber light on your trailer, the green wire to the passenger side amber light on your trailer and the red wire will have 3 wires attached to it one to each tail light for the brake light and one to the red center bar for that brake feature as well. If that center bar has a running light, I'd connect one of those brown wires to that light as well.

The 5th pole blue wire if you use it will go to your trailer brake assemblies.

For your motorcycle side, if you have the brakes on your trailer, you will use the 5-Way # 20016 and use the blue wire to connect to a time delayed brake controller like # 39523. I've attached a wiring diagram to assist.
