Adjusting RoadActive Suspension on 2013 Ford F-150 Crew Cab Short Bed for Towing 5th Wheel
Question:
How do you know when to use the black disc or the white disc. I have a 2013 F150 crew cab 4x4 6.5 bed towing a 30’ 5th wheel with 1670lbs pin weight.

The RoadActive Suspension Kit # RAS3611-Y is a confirmed fit for your 2013 Ford F-150 Crew Cab 4x4. To properly tension your spring, the black disc (2 mm thick) and the white disc (1 mm thick) are used for a gauge between the spring coils. The white disc is used to improve your factory suspension handling and 25% additional load capacity. The black disc is used to improve handling and 40% additional load capacity. This is according to page 4 of the instruction sheet which is attached as a photo and the entire instructions are linked.
I recommend using the black disc for your application.
