Question:

I have an aftermarket remote start on my truck. I put an electric brake controller on another vehicle doing all the wiring manually and burned out stop light switch and the remote start module. Is the factory wiring set up so this wont happen when I plug this one in. Thanks for your help.

If the remote start uses the CHMSL or stop light circuits then it is possible that using the brake controller could blow that fuse if the circuit is overdrawn. But considering that a remote start is only using the brake signal to shut down the motor before using the key to restart it the chances of that happening are slim to none.

If you want to use Curt controller # C74VV then you will need wiring harness # C51382 to plug it into your 2014 Nissan Frontier.
