For your 2004 Chevy Trailblazer EXT, I recommend the Yakima roof rack consisting of the following:

Yakima JetStream Crossbars - 50" Long # Y00425 (these do have the T-slots for compatible accessories)
SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y53TR Landing Pad 1 for Yakima Control Towers # Y00221
Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204

This roof rack is rated for 165 lbs capacity, and will work with the Yakima SkyRise Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars - 2 Person - 400 lbs max # Y07436 or the 3 Person - 600 lbs max # Y07437. These roof rack tents require crossbar/roof racks with a minimum capacity of 165 lbs so not every crossbar will be a fit. These tents do not install to the T-slots like other accessories, but use a locking clamp instead that is tool free. I've attached a video to assist.
