That bracket is specific to some vehicles; if you could tell me what vehicle you have I would be able to give you the appropriate vehicle wiring and mounting options.

I have a 2019 Durango w/o factory tow option but with a MOPAR receiver that I need to wire for trailer. The opening for the factory 7/4 way connector appears to be exactly the same as this unit. The opening is circular on one end and rectangular on the other. Hole dimensions: total length = 3 5/8, rectangular width = 1 5/8, circular diameter = 2 . Is this a psuedo industry standard? Can you verify if this unit will /snap into this opening? Thank You.

For future reference. I ordered the Hopkins HM11141144 intended fro Chevy/GMC from etrailer. The 7/4 pin unit fits perfectly into the MOPAR OEM receiver hitch opening MOPAR part 52124606AF. I also ordered the Tekonsha # 118617 Trailer Wiring Kit from etrailer. The HM11141144 provides a pigtail allowing me to splice to the Tekonsha ouput to provide a factory 7/4 interface. This is lacking backup and electric brake service however. I tow a boat with surge brakes so this is OK for my use. I would like to know what is the easiest way to tap into the vehicle backup circuit so that I can wire it into the receiver interface. This would provide for brake lockout when backing up via the trailer brake solenoid.
