Can Shackle Bolt with Locknut, # 166081 Be Used in Place of Dexter Bolts
Question:
I just received the 166081 bolts and noticed my original bolts are shoulder type Dexter 9/16x2.9 - Dexter p/n K71-290-00. Is the 166081 9/16x3 bolt interchangeable with the Dexter bolt? Im also replacing the shackle straps.

You will be able to use the Shackle Bolt with Locknut, # 166081, in place of the old Dexter bolts you have. If the bolts were shorter, you would not be able to use them but since they are basically the same length, you should not have any problems.
