for 2003 SLT GMC pickup, controller HA81725, which adapter wiring connector do I need to plug into terminal box located left of steering column near floor. Is that all thats needed? truck already has tow package.

For your Hayes Syncronizer Trailer Brake Controller # HA81725 on your 2003 GMC pickup with tow package, you will want wiring adapter # HA81780-HBC. This will plug into your junction box beneath your vehicle's dash. That is all you will need as you stated.
