There are quite a few options for your tire depending on your style preference with the 225/75R15 tires with 6 bolt wheel. For a basic and clean looking steel wheel option, I recommend the Westlake # LHAW124. This is a silver mod style wheel rated for 2,830 lbs and speeds of up to 75 mph. The Lion's Head tires and wheels offer the best warranty with a one year wheel, 5 year tire, and 2 year roadside assistance warranty.

I've linked the page to all your options. The 2,830 is the closest to 3,000 lbs you will get with a 15 inch wheel. If you move to the 16 inch wheel, then # LHAW251 will give you a 3,520 lb capacity keeping the same bolt pattern.

Thanks Mike. Lionshead is the company that makes Westlake brand tires. They are a newer brand that is taking a big chunk of the market because of their wheel design and the warranty they put behind their tires. The nitrogen fill is not essential by any means, so you can use standard air and it won't be an issue.

You can purchase tires or wheels separately, or you can get one of the pre-balanced combinations we offer. I've linked the page to the 15 inch wheels with 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern to assist. There are many options available. I have also linked the larger page to all the wheel size options if you need a smaller one as well as the combinations page.

I've attached an article to assist with bolt pattern as the pattern of the lugs on your hubs will limit your options. I recommend using a radial tire when possible as they hold up better to heat. Let me know if you have further questions.

Question:

I'm intrested in ordering these tires. The one you suggested the little better bigger one. What im worried about is I bought some tires online and they were shiped to me that have a to tight of a plastic band on them that left dents on them. I wasn't happy about that. Is there a way that this can be prevented. If im spending $ bucks on something I want to feel good

I think you'll be really happy with the Lionshead Westlake Tires # LHAW251. We don't ship them banded together and if there is any issue at all in shipping, please let our customer service team know so we can make it right. We also want you to feel good about your purchase and our services.

The # LHAW251 tire combinations are not available in black. If you want black wheels, we have the Kenda Karrier ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire with 16" Black Mod Wheel # AM34834. These will give you the black wheels and a good tire, but they are only rated for speeds up to 65 mph and there is only a 2 year limited warranty with no roadside assistance. They are nice tires, I just want to make sure you know they are not identical.

You can piece them together yourself using the Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # LHWL401 and Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6" Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 - Black Powder Coat # AM20757. You will also need valve stem # AM20904.
