There isn't really any recommended hardware to use to mount the Camco RV Baggage Door Catches # CAM44173.
If you check out the attached installation video you can see that we used screws that were between 1" - 1-1/4" long. Just make sure that the screws you use are not long enough that they damage anything inside your trailer.
