Question:
Last year I purchased 2 480x12 LR āDā tires. The rated cold press is 100 psi. I am running them at 100 psi. I am also using a TPMS on them. Can you tell me what the high pressure limit that I should set the TPMS at? Thanx

Trailer tires should always be inflated to the maximum psi as listed on the tire's sidewall. This means for your 4.80-12 size tires with a Load Range D, they should always be inflated to the 100 psi mentioned in your question. When setting up your TPMS, this is the baseline pressure you will want set for the tires on your trailer. The high pressure limit/alert on the system will then be activated if there is a pressure increase of 20% or more from this baseline number.
I have attached a couple articles on trailer tires that you might also find helpful.
