Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Honda Pilot

Question:

I am looking at the Curt or Draw-Tite hitches for my 2017 Honda Pilot but I was curious if you offer a hitch that integrates with the bumper more like the factory model would? I can get the hitch cover part that is required to re-trim the bumper facia but the hitch would need to sit higher than the Curt/Draw-Tite models do. Thanks!

The Draw-Tite # 75225 and Curt # C13146 are the only two hitches which are available for your 2017 Honda Pilot. There is not one that integrates with the bumper, though as you can see from the accompanying photo, the only part of the hitch which is visible is the actual 2 inch receiver on either model. This is less visibility than most hitches on vehicles and our customers have been very pleased with both as you can see by the reviews. I recommend going with the Draw-Tite # 75225.

If you plan on towing and do not have a factory wiring harness you can add a 4-flat with # 118760. I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise. I've also attached links to a video review of the ball mount kit and our page with each of our ball mounts.
