Question:

2006 Gmc Serria 1500 wt long bed I have a 5th wheel and need to lift rear suspension about 3 to 4 inches when pulling a camper, also tires are slightly wider than oem they are 5 3/4inch away from frame. Any suggestions? Air bags.

For your 2006 GMC Sierra 1500, the air bag systems available are not compatible with an in-bed hitch. So my recommendation to help your rear suspension when towing your 5th wheel is the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK25S. These springs will install where your factory bump stops are, so your slightly wider tires will not be an issue.

These springs will absorb road shock and take the brunt of the load to come alongside your current factory suspension. The will work independently to stabilize your truck and compensate for off-center loads. They become more rigid as more weight is added to reduce sag. They are rated for up to 6,000 lbs but that doesn't increase the payload capacity of your Sierra.

I've attached a couple videos to assist. Let me know if you have further questions.
