2-Motor Powered Landing Gear Recommendation for 2010 Keystone Montana

Question:

I am looking for a set of landing legs for my 2010 Keystone Montana 3400RL. We currently have a single motor landing leg system. We had a catastrophic landing gear failure. I would like to do a dual motor system either the ultra-fab deluxe or the bully dog. How long are the legs from the top of the motor to the foot when fully closed? Our legs now are 29.5 inches. I am concerned the dual motor system with the motor on top of the leg will not fit. Are there other landing gear sets that have two side mount motors vs. the top mount? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

The Montana by Keystone had a special set of landing gear made for them by Lippert. So typically we recommend the part # LC178653 for the lead leg and part # LC178652 for the follow leg.

The difference is the mounting bracket location that's on the jack. So your best option for a dual motor landing gear setup would be the Reese kit part # RP500708 which can have the motors inverted when installed like what you see in the attached picture. This will give you more clearance.

The mounting brackets on your RV will have to be moved though to install these.
