What is wrong when you press the furnace button and the furnace will not come on?

If Atwood Air Command # AT15028-22 unit does not heat when you are using the controls directly connected to it then you can walk through these troubleshooting options:
- Ensure mode has been switched to heat (check
Green LED)
- Thermostat set point must be above room temperature
- The heat pump will only provide heat in ambient
temperatures above approx. 45°F.
- The furnace must be used as primary heat source in
ambient temperatures below 45°F.
- In very cold conditions the unit will take more time to
start producing warm air
