Question:
I am considering an axle weight capacity increase for my 2005 Keystone Sprinter 5th wheel. The current axles are rated at 5200 lbs each with two axles and electric brakes. Which axles do you carry that would give me a 7K rating for each axle on my 5th wheel?

Unfortunately the standard axles in our selection available have a maximum capacity of 3500-lbs.
I do have a Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension Item # TASR7KS01 option which would also replace your suspension. Timbren systems provide smooth, quiet, and safe rides without the need of an axle. Timbren systems also give you an independent suspension for better handling. It also has a 7000-lbs weight capacity. You would also need new trailer hub-and-drum assembly like Item # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K. New brakes would be needed as well like the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit Item # 23-464-465.
No matter what you do, you may not be able to increase the weight capacity for your 2005 Keystone Sprinter fifth wheel. The overall maximum weight capacity is determined by the lowest maximum capacity of your trailer and its components. For example, if your frame has a maximum capacity of 6000-lbs then your overall maximum capacity is 6000-lbs.
