How Does Blue Ox Patriot Draw Power From Vehicle with Disconnected Battery

Question:

The vehicle I will be towing needs to have the negative battery terminal disconnected while in tow. That means I will not have 12V power available in the car for the Patriot II Braking System. How will this system work in this situation? My vehicle is a 2014 Ford Fiesta with an automatic transmission. It can be flat towed as long as it is placed in neutral and the negative battery terminal is disconnected

What you'd need is the part # RM-9332. This is a 12 volt socket that get wired directly to the vehicle battery so that when you disconnect your battery your Patriot # BLU37TR has an outlet it can draw power from the battery through.
