Can Optronics 3-Function LED Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light STL78RB Be Wired for One Function

Question:

I want to use one light for each function. Such as one light for brake and one light for signal. Can I wire my brake circuit to all the wires on the light so all leds come on with the brakes?

The Optronics Sealed, 6-1/2-Inch Oval LED Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL78RB is a 3-function LED trailer light designed to display the combined stop/turn signals and running light (or tail light) signals in trailer wiring.

If you wanted this light to serve only one function, such as brakes, then yes, you could wire both the black tail light wire and the red stop/turn light wire to that one circuit. The white wire is ground.

LED trailer lights are super-efficient, using only about 1/10th the power of incandescent lights, so they will be brighter and save you having to replace bulbs periodically. They also do not change color as they age; incandescent bulbs' light output tends to turn yellowish as they age.
