Can the Malone Runway Hold Childrens Bikes on a 2014 Chevy Equinox

To get some bikes such as smaller children's bikes to fit the Malone RunWay 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms Item # MPG2142 will likely require the use of adapter bars such as # 64005. The problem on smaller bikes is that there isn't much space under the top bike frame tube to fit over the arms on the bike rack. A strategically placed bike adapter bar can solve that problem.

The other option is to go with a bike rack with arms that are closer together and for that I recommend the Yakima FullBack # Y02633. The arm spacing on this rack is a mere 12 inches from outside of cradle to outside of cradle so it is less likely you would need adapter bars on this rack.
