Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Subaru Forester with Best Bumper Clearance

I have a 2014 Forester. I purchased a receiver from you when I got it2014. It sits far enough behind the bumper that it requires an extension so when it folds up it doesnt hit the bumper. Is there a receiver that will stick out a little farther so I dont have to use the extension? Thanks

I wasn't able to find your order notes so I am not sure what hitch you have, but the Curt part # C13144 would be the one for your 2014 Subaru Forester that would stick out the most. From the center of it's hitch pin hole to the furthest point out it measures 3-1/2 inches. The hitch opening is basically totally flush with the bumper so you wouldn't need any type of extension with this rack.
