Comparing Draw-Tite # 76128 and Curt # C13397 for 2017 Honda CR-V

Compare the C13306 and the Draw tite 76128 for compatibility with the hands free sensors on 2017 Honda CR-V. Also, where do the support straps go on the Curt hitch?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76128 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13397 are very similar in style and function. They are both easy to install and will work well with accessories. The biggest difference is the Curt hitch is rated for less weight and requires fascia trimming for installation. The Curt hitch also recommends using the support strap # 18050 for any non-trailer load, but the Draw-Tite does not require this. The strap will connect to the top of your hatch to help secure the load weight of a cargo carrier or bike rack. I've attached a photo to help.

Either hitch will allow the hands free sensors to work, but only to the sides of the center tube where it will obviously block the sensor in the middle.
