Bike Rack for 4 Bikes for the Bumper on a 2017 Rockwood Ultra Light Travel Trailer

Im looking for a bike rack to haul 4 bikes on the back square bumper of my 2017 Rockwood Ultra Light 8311-WS travel trailer. How does your rack measure up to that task?

There are only certain bike racks that are rated for use at the back of an RV or trailer. I have included a link to them for you. The Kuat NV # NV22G-NA22G is not rated for use on a RV or trailer so I cannot recommend it.

What I do recommend is the Lets Go Aero BikeWing T4 4-Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Tilting - Horizontal Wheel Mount Item # B01458 which is rated for use at the back of a trailer or RV. As a 4-bike rack that holds the bike at the wheels it is surprising light weighing in at 41 pounds. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.

Another option that is much less fancy but that will attached directly to an RV/trailer bumper is the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack Item # S80600. Since it attaches directly to the bumper and has 2 halves it is easy to place it to go around any obstructions. To use this rack the bumper will need to be 4 to 4-1/2 inches square, made of steel, and welded its whole length.

Whether a rack is mounted directly to the bumper or to a hitch that is attached to the bumper you have to make sure the bumper is rated for the combined weight of the bike rack and bikes.
