Piecing Together an E-Z Flex Equalizer System with 3 Inch Shackle Straps

Question:

I am doing an upgrade on my trailer and want to swap out the solid equalizer that is 5-3/4inch wide and about 2-1/2inch tall with 3inch center hole to center hole shackle straps. This kit only comes with 2-1/4inch shackle straps and I am looking to see if there is a version with 3inch shackle straps? I know I can piece meal everything by ordering the replacement E-Z Flex head and the Dexter Shackle upgrade kit Item # K71-358-00. Only issue with the piece meal option is I cannot find a center pivot bolt for the E-Z Flex. What are my options to make this work without having to buy the whole kit with the 2-1/4inch shackles and then buying the upgrade kit separately not a very economical option?

Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit # K71-358-00 is exactly what you need though on a tandem axle you would need 2 sets. E-Z Flex System # K71-652-00 does not use wet bolts to hang the equalizer part. It has grease fittings on top for that so you can just use a regular bolt.

So you would use # K71-654-00 for the equalizers by themselves, 2 of kit # K71-358-00, and either reuse the hanger bolts you have or use 2 of # TRFA73Z916DLNZ or a similar bolt.
