Where Are The Trailer Light Fuses On A 2010 Ford F-350 Located

Question:

where is the fuse located for trailer lights on a 2010 ford f350 super duty

Expert Reply:

There are several fuse's you will need to check that pertain to the vehicle's trailer lighting circuit. All of these fuses will be located in the fuse box under the hood of the vehicle in the engine compartment.

Using the fuse puller located in the fuse box. You will want to check location #34 for the trailer stop/turn function which is a 25 amp fuse, location # 42 for the trailer park lamp function which is a 30 amp fuse, and location # 44 for the trailer battery charge which is a 20 amp fuse. You will also want to check the relays associated with the trailer's light circuit. Location # 20 is responsible for the left trailer stop/turn light relay and location # 21 is responsible for the right trailer stop/turn light relay.

According to the owner's manual, you want to disconnect the vehicle's battery before you begin to check these circuits. I have attached a photo of the fuse box with the location numbers pinpointed.
