Recommendation For 5 on 4-1/2 Idler Hubs To Replace 4 On 4 Inch Drum Hubs On 3500 lb Axles

Question:

I currently have a 4 bolt hubs with brakes and want to switch to idler hubs on a tandem trailer with 3500. Lbs axles would like to go 5 lug on 4 1/2 , my current bearing are l68149 and l44649r , could you possibly steer me in the right direction? Thanks !

Thanks for the bearing numbers. For your replacement idler hubs on your 3500 lb axles, I recommend the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # AKIHUB-545-35-K. This comes with the bearings, seal, cap and lugs.

Just add the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease - 14 oz. Cartridge # L11390 and you will be ready for your new wheels to match your bolt pattern. If you'd like a recommendation, let me know your wheel size and I'd be happy to assist.
