In order to determine the best weight distribution system for your needs, you will want to determine your vehicle and trailers total tongue weight. The trailer's tongue weight can be calculated by using a scale such as the Sherline Trailer Tongue Weight Scale part # 5780. In addition to your trailers loaded ready to tow tongue weight, you will also need to account for any cargo stored behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle.

My personal recommendation for a weight distribution system would be our Equal-i-zer products as they are our top of the line option with built-in integrated 4-point sway control that not only reduces trailer sway when it occurs, but also helps to prevent trailer sway from occurring. You will need part # EQ37101ET for a total tongue weight between 600-1,000 lbs, part # EQ37120ET for a total tongue weight between 900-1,200 lbs, and part # EQ37140ET for a total tongue weight between 1,100-1,400 lbs.

I have included a weight distribution sheet in addition to our help article to determine your trailer tongue weight.
