Installation and Wiring Guide for Bargman 84 Series Tail Light 30-84-104

Updated 09/20/2025 | Published 05/26/2017

Question:

I have installed these in my 1989 Layton Celebrity 5th wheel and have them installed with the amber light closest to the outside corner on each light set. Is this a problem, or is this legal? Also not sure of the wiring diagrahm, is it possible to get a schematic? not sure I received one with my order. Thank you so much.

The Bargman 84-Series Tail Light # 30-84-104 and similar replacement tail lights that have an amber lens should be mounted with the amber lens to the outside edge of the RV as you did. The white wire is ground, the black wires are for stop/turn signals and the green wire is for the running/tail light signal. Please refer to the linked video for more information.

My issue is similar yet I don’t have an amber light on my 1987 Econoline E350 Leprechaun Coachmen RV. I have a dark red lens on both outer and inner with a red and clear for reverse in the middle.

@Ron How does the Triple LED Trailer Tail Light # CE44VR look to you? It's the only one we have with that design and it measures 14" long x 6-7/8" tall x 1" deep.
