Height of MaxxTow MaxxHaul Load Extender in the Truck Bed Extender Position

Hi, What is the assembled height of the unit at its lowest setting? From the pictures it looks like it would sit higher than bed height. Also what is the range of height adjustment in the bed extension configuration? The specs say 4-10...this does not seem accurate, and what is the 4inch referring to anyway? :D I have a 2016 Tacoma and need this mainly for hauling lumber. As the width between my wheel Wells is less than 48, it is important to me that the unit can accommodate both bed height and wheel well height. Thank you very much!

The MaxxTow MaxxHaul Load Extender # MT70231 will range from 15-3/4 inches to 23 inches from the top of the hitch receiver to the top of the cross bar when it's used as a truck bed extender.

You'll need to measure from the top of your 2016 Toyota Tacoma's hitch receiver to determine if the lumber you're carrying will sit level in your truck bed or not.
