You have several options to choose from in order to enhance the rear suspension of your 2016 Ford F-150 XLT while towing. Each of which has their own individual pro's and con's

The best way to combat vehicle sag when towing a trailer is a weight distribution system because it will distribute the weight on the rear axle across the entire vehicle and trailer. Choosing the right system is very important. You will first start off by measuring the total tongue weight of your ready to tow loaded trailer in addition to any weight stored behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. Next you can begin to select the right system for your needs. I have attached a help article that illustrates the proper way to do so in addition to a list of our weight distribution options.

If you are considering suspension enhancements, then the best option to install on your vehicle in order to enhance the performance of your rear suspension would entail the use of an airbag kit. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2582. These air springs will provide your vehicle with a more stable and comfortable ride while towing in addition to decreasing the amount of sag experienced from hauling a heavy load.

Another option to consider is the Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit part # RAS3611-Y (4WD) and part # RAS3611-B (2WD). The Roadmaster kits are designed to absorb some of the force sent to the leaf springs on the rear of your vehicle in addition to increasing their strength. The springs offer adjustability for different loads and are a more maintenance free option over air bags.

Our most cost efficient product is our Timbren Suspension Enhancement System part # TFRTT1504E. The Timbren springs are designed to replace the factory bump stops of your vehicle's rear suspension while providing a more effective method of absorbing shock in addition to reducing the chance for body roll. The timbren springs do not offer any adjustments to be made, but once they are installed you never have to mess with them again.

I have attached a few additional supporting documents for your review.
