High Capacity Hitch and Extension Recommendation for 2005 Dodge Ram

Question:

I need a heavy duty receiver hitch and a 28-30 inch extender for my 2005 Dodge 3/4 ton 2500 truck. The truck is a short bed, the slide-in camper extends past the bumper. I will be pulling a 20-22 foot enclosed aluminum V nose trailer from Colorado to Alaska. Inside the trailer I will have 2 side-by-side quads.

The Curt hitch part # C15809 is a heavy duty hitch confirmed as a fit for your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. It has incredibly high towing capacities at 2,700 lb tongue weight and 20,000 lbs total trailer weight.

For a longer hitch extension that would fit the hitch and give you the length you need we have the Curt extension part # C45048.
