Estimated Installation Time for Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch, 2006 Ford Expedition and Snow Plow

I am anticipating using this mount on my 2006 Expedition 4wd. Will this be a difficult and extensive installation? I plan to use this with a Snow Sport Snow Plow. Can you spot any problems using this with a snow plow for light duty home snow plowing?

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 31352, has an estimated installation time of 30 minutes for an experienced installer. For a novice with the correct tools it might take about an hour. I have included a link to the installation details so you can review the steps to install the hitch on your 2006 Ford Expedition.

This hitch and a SnowSport Plow, like # A80849KIT, will work beautifully together. The only problem I can foresee is not really a problem at all. Sometimes, when plowing snow, some people find that they have a hard time keeping the plow down when snow is hard and compacted. For that, I recommend the Agri-Cover SnowSport HDS (Hold Down Strap), # A60220, which will provide constant downward pressure.
