Parts Needed to Add 7-Way and Brake Controller in 2001 Ford F-150 with Factory 4-Way
Question:
Hello, I have a 2001 F150 supercrew with the factory 4 prong plug. I need to switch it to a 7 prong plug, and get a brake controller. I have these 4 parts in my cart C55242, C74VV, C51322, PK12711U. I want to just make sure this is all that is needed, and I am not missing something. Thank you

To install a 7-way in your 2001 Ford F-150 the correct part you need is the part # C55242 that you referenced which will mount with the bracket part # PK12711U you also mentioned.
To install the Curt Venturer part # C74VV you also mentioned will require the # C51322 which plugs in under the dash of your truck. Check out the install video I attached for more info on this as well.
