Options for a Rear Trailer Receiver Hitch on a 5th Wheel Trailer


Whats the best option to install a rear hitch on a PROWLER 5th Wheel RV?

We have several different options of trailer hitches that are designed to fit the rear of a travel or 5th wheel trailer. However, the hitch that you have pictured will not function on your Prowler 5th wheel trailer. This hitch looks to be a specific fit for a passenger car or truck and not designed to mount on a trailer frame.

Depending on the width of your trailer's frame will determine on which hitch will work. If your frame width is 18 to 51 inches wide, then the Curt Adjustable Hitch # C13701 is the hitch for your trailer.

If your measured width is between 22 to 72 inches wide, then the Curt Hitch # C13703 will be the hitch to work on your trailer.

Both of these hitches are universal and will only work on box frame, C-channel, or I-bean trailer frames and can be either welded or bolted-on to the trailer's frame. If welding, it is recommended that the welding should be done by a certified welder.
