Installation Of MaxxTow Off-Road Light Bar On 2011 Ram Cab Chassis

Question:

I currently have 2 strobe lights very similar to your item#ALP77234 and I want to replace them with either two smaller light bars or one bigger one. My truck is a 2011 Ram cab chassis, so it already has a factory auxiliary button on the dash that I currently use for the strobe lights and it also appears that it already has the relay module. Could I just do a simple swap by just splicing the wires with these 11 1/2inch light bars MT80631 or would I have to do a whole replacement with the wires? Is it also possible to just use the existing wires if I decided to go with the longer light bar MT80632?

It is possible that you could use your current wiring with either the # MT80632 or the # MT80631. It would depend on the wattage your current system can handle and the relay it uses. I would suggest using the wiring that comes with either one of these systems instead and splicing in your factory auxiliary dash button. That will ensure proper function and the correct draw to protect your lights and the wiring.
