7-Way Recommendation for 2001 Coachman Clipper Pop Up

Question:

I have a 2001 Coachman Clipper Pop up camper. The rear turn/brake light was losing connection so I looked at my wires. The trailer wires connect to a 6 pin square with 6 wires. I then have a 6 pin connection cord from the trailer harness to my tow vehicle with a 7 pin blade. Both the male/female pins on the 6 pin are rotted. I have checked with coachman and a local rv service provider and they do not have OEM parts to swap these pieces. In looking through many forums I want to hard wire the trailer to the 7 blade connection with no in-between connection. However the 7 blade functions 7 wires to the 6 pin 6 wires do not have the same functions. Most are easy to connect, however on the trailer end I have a pink wire that is labeled for converter, and I have no 7th wire battery wire from the trailer the trailer has the battery wire spliced in earlier in the trailer. I have attached pictures of the 6 pin stock connection and the manuals description of the wiring. Could anyone tell me based on the 6 wires on the trailer, how they would connect to a 7 blade harness?

A standard 7-way is going to work just fine on your trailer. That converter circuit will be for a 12 volt power source which a 7-way is going to have on the 1:00 pin.

For the trailer side you would want the part # H20043 and you would be good to go.
