Replacement 7-Way Recommendation for 2004 Dodge Ram
Published 10/05/2016 >
Question:
I have a seven way already on my truck but it does not work most of the time. I am looking for a replacement. Will this work on my truck? It must also work with the electric brakes on my trailers.

The 7-Way part # 42145 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2004 Dodge Ram. It will replace what you have and give you a fully functional 7-way that will allow your trailer brakes to work as that circuit is complete on the 7-way as well.
I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
