Rooftop Cargo Bag Fits on 2015 Nissan Pathfinder with Raised Side Rails

Question:

Regarding the Rightline Gear Sport 3 Rooftop Cargo Bag - Waterproof - 18 cu ft - 48" x 40" x 19"... Do i need crossbars to mount this? From the description it suggestions all that is required is the raised side rails without any crossbars. I have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SL. Thank you.

The Rightline Gear Sport 3 Rooftop Cargo Bag # RL100S30 can install on a vehicle with a bare roof, one with a full roof rack or one with only raised front-to-back side rails like those on your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Since you have side rails this bag will work fine for you.

For any roof bag I recommend using a non-skid pad # RL100650 to help keep the bag from shifting around and to protect your roof's paint finish. It is always a good idea to ensure both the roof and bag surfaces are clean and free of dirt and grit.

Another handy items for use with rooftop cargo is a step, such as the Telesteps # TE97FR which is lightweight aluminum. This will make loading and unloading the bag much easier.
