Compatibility of Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack INRT202 & Topline Add-A-Bike Assembly AB2600

Question:

Hi. I want to purchase the INRT202 to mount my full suspension bike inside my Tacoma truck bed with cargo management rails. I would also like to attach a second bike using the Topline Add-A-Bike Assembly which should just connect two bikes together, regardless of how the first bike is mounted. Will this work, and if so should I secure the first bike with additional straps for stability?

There is no reason that you cannot use the Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack # INRT202 in your 2006 Tacoma for your full suspension bike and along with it the Topline Add-A-Bike Assembly # AB2600 for your second bike. This is actually a clever and cost-effective combination of products, so good for you for being creative!

I do suggest you add a strap for extra stability, as you suggested, and we offer a simple support strap # 18050 from Curt. You might even want to use a second Topline clamp between the two bikes.

If you care to add a cable lock to secure the bikes together you can use # CAB-10 from Deadbolt.
