What Roller Bunks Suitable to Replace 8-Foot Bunk Boards on Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a V-hull 19ft fisher boat that has slide bunks that I want to replace with roller bunks. The slide bunks are 8ft. should I use 2, 4ft roller bunks end to end per side to make the 8ft and do you need to use a special bracket to attach the 2 4ft rollers. Thanks!

No special brackets are required to install 4-foot roller bunks # DL21740 on your boat trailer. In fact you can mount them directly to your existing wooden bunk boards. Two pairs of this roller bunk will work great on your trailer to ease loading and unloading of your v-hull boat and your winch will have a much easier time of it pulling up your boat with the reduced friction from the roller bunks.

You will want to source suitable hardware, either stainless steel or galvanized, for the chosen mounting surface. You can use wood screws for mounting them on wooden bunks, or if you prefer you can use nuts/bolts.
