2008 dodge ram 1500 i cant find the blue brake wire on the back of the truck

Expert Reply:
If your 2008 Dodge Ram pickup does not have a factory trailer connector (4-pole or 7-way) at the back bumper then for brake controller installation you will do a hardwired installation using our Brake Controller Installation Kit # ETBC7. This kit requires a working 4-pole connector; if you need one use part # 119178KIT. The linked article and video cover the installation process for the ETBC7.
For a brake controller I recommend a proportional type unit like the Prodigy P2 # 90885. This controller works with both electric drum brakes and electric-over-hydraulic systems too. It is also among the easiest to use controllers available.
