Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 1990 Mazda MPV Van

Question:
I purchased a flat 4 basic trailer hookup harness kit and cant seem to hook it up to the tail lights on my Mazda MPV which has separate lights on both sides left andright double bulbs not he vehicle tailites? It\s a 1990 Mazda MPV van. Thank you for your help

You will have to use a converter style trailer wiring harness like part # C56175 which is a confirmed fit for your 1990 Mazda MPV. There will be no way to directly wire a 4-way to your van since it has separate turn signals and trailer wiring requires the signals to be converted to combined.
