Recommended Replacement RV Steps For 2016 Aliner Expedition

Question:

We have a new 2016 Aliner expedition. Not the off road version, which has one step that pulls out. Which is too high for my wife with artificial knees. What size and model two step unit will fit and replace what we have?

You want to make sure you select replacement RV steps that will fit the mounting location on your Aliner. I was unable to find the step specs for your camper so you will need to measure.

The steps we offer have specific dimensions for the width and depth of the mounting locations. For example, The Lippert Steps, part # 952240RXWAC1 are 24 inches wide and 8-1/2 inches deep and require a mounting dimension of 25-1/4 inches wide and 9 inches deep. These steps have a 6-3/4 inch drop/rise between the steps.

Another replacement step we offer is the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps, part # SMFP-2100. These steps measure 24 inches wide and 9 inches deep and the mounting dimensions are 26-1/8 inches wide and 8 inches deep. These have a 7-7/8 inch drop/rise from top of step to step.

If you measure the mounting location you have on your camper and want to let me know I will see what we carry that will work for you.

If you decide not to replace the steps on your camper, you may want to consider the Adjustable Height Folding Platform Step, part # S-150. This step has a height adjustment from 4 to 8 inches and the platform measures 24 inches wide and 16 inches deep. This step will work well when you have different clearance measurements from the ground to the step on your Aliner.
