Will B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Fit 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 With 5-1/2 Ft Bed

B and W indicates that: GNRK1057 Fits: 2007-2016 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 Ton Short Bed Trucks, New Boxed Frame which seems to include my 5 1/2 foot bed. I noticed that you included its use for the 6 1/2 foot bed but left out the 5 1/2 foot bed. Thought I would ask for an explanation and clarification. Thanks.

I called my contact at B&W about your 2016 GMC Sierra with the 5-1/2 ft bed.

The # BWGNRK1057 Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch is verified as a fit for your truck. They do not differentiate between the 6-1/2 and the 5-1/2 ft bed for a fit. I have attached an installation video of this hitch you can check out. You will need to make sure your measurements are correct when installing the hitch.

This hitch comes with a custom installation kit that bolts to existing holes in your truck frame.

If you need a trailer connector in your truck bed for your gooseneck trailer I recommend part # 41157.

When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
