Recommended Fifth Wheel Installation Kit For 2005 Dodge Ram 1500

I do have reese 5th wheel hitchs model is 30031, 14k. I looking for 5th wheel brackets kit for my 2005 Dodge 1500 and short bed. what is model number to buy for brackets kit. Hope everything wil match.

If the Reese fifth wheel hitch you have is designed to be used with industry-standard rails I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit, part # RP50040-58. This custom kit cuts the installation time in half versus the universal bracket system. I have attached a link to an installation video for this kit on a 2005 Dodge Ram truck you can check out.

The semi-custom installation kit we offer is part # RP30035-023. The kit includes the base rails, universal brackets, and the hardware needed. The difference between the two kits is the custom brackets with the RP50040-58 and the universal brackets that require more drilling when installing RP30035-023.
