Recommended Timbren Rear Axle Jounce Spring Kit for 2014 Toyota Tundra 4WD

Interested in info on Timbren or other brand on spring bumpers for rear on a 2014 Tundra 4WD. Can these be installed if I have a rear sway bar. I am not interested in air ride as may be setting up for 5th wheel in future. Towing 7000lb trailer. Also what shocks would help improve ride both w/ trailer and without? Thanks.

You can use a set of Timbren rubber jounce springs # TTORTUN4 in your 2014 Toyota Tundra 4WD to help support the rear suspension. Since these install in place of the factory bump stops on the frame they will not interfere with your sway bar.

The 6000-lb-rated Timbren kit installs without any drilling using included brackets and hardware. The linked video illustrates the kit components. This kit will not interfere with future 5th wheel hitch installation.

The great thing about this type of jounce spring is that it will support your suspension when it is under load but it will otherwise not affect your unloaded ride quality. Best of all, they require absolutely no maintenance.

The suspension enhancement kits we offer for your 2014 Toyota Tundra 4WD do not include replacement shocks. I suggest you wait on that until you have selected your 5th wheel and towed it a few times to get a sense of the Tundra's handling when hitched.
