tow Bar Adapter for Front Bumper with 7/8 Inch Diameter D-Rings

Question:

In all off the information about this you are using 3/4inch and 7/8inch interchangeably which is really confusing me. The diameter of the hole in my xrc jk not gen 2 bumper is 7/8. That 7/8inch diameter hole is 1inch deep horizontally. I take it from previous answers I would need the the 3/4inch thick because a previous answer said the pin was 3/4. That same answer also said the pin was 7/8inch on diameter hence the confusion. Can you please clarify? The final part is what is the width of the adapter where the pin is inserted. Is it at least 1inch because that is the depth of the hole in the bumper where pin would be inserted. What would be most helpfull is the actual dimensions of the adapter. I saw the picture postee which is good but if i had the dimensions of the adapter where is attaches to the bumper I could fugure out which one I needed and/or what I needed to do to make it fit and work.

There are adapters for 3/4 inch, 7/8 inch, and 1 inch diameter D-Ring hole openings. If your opening is 7/8 of an inch then you would need to use the only one that is for 7/8 inch diameters which is # BX88357 from Blue Ox. The span between the 2 tabs of these adapters is 1 inch which is exactly what you need.

This adapter fits on the end of Blue Ox tow bars. I recommend the Alpha # BX7380 which is rated for up to 6,500 pounds and comes with safety cables.
