4-Pole Mounting Bracket for Use with Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness C56033
Question:
Is there enough wire or is it possible to mount on the hitch instead of having to send the wiring out the back of the hatch? I would prefer to mount it on the hitch bracket instead of have the wiring come from the inside of the vehicle.

The 4-pole wiring on Curt T-Connector Harness # C56033 is long enough to reach a hitch-mounted bracket like # 18144 but there is a benefit to keeping the wiring protected inside your Rogue until you actually need it for your trailer.
The worst enemy of trailer wiring is corrosion, which can be caused by exposure to moisture, salt and other contaminants. Keeping that 4-pole safe when not in use can help prolong its working lifespan and spare you unwelcome lighting issues when you tow. Dielectric grease # 11755 will also help to protect the conductive surfaces from corrosion.
The foam weather stripping on your rear hatch protects the wiring from any damage when the hatch is closed on it.
