Does the Install of a Blue Ox Patriot that Runs to Vehicle Battery Require Fused Power Wire

Question:

if I wire a 12v outlet direct to battery for plugging in the patriot do I need to add an inline fuse or does the patriot have one built in?

If you were to use an outlet kit like the part # RM-9332 when installing the Blue Ox Patriot you would not need to put a fuse on the power wire as the Blue Ox has internal circuit protection.
