Question:
I have a 2003 Express conversion van with a hitch and 6 pin round I need to trade out to a 7 pin. I like the 7 + 4 on the Hopkins HM40975, but the exisitng connnections were bare wire screw terminal style on the 6 pin. I see the wiring harness with plug thats part of the PK11898 kit, but I cant find that pigtail on its own or with a 7 + 4 plug unit. Do you have an option in one of those two scenarios a that pigtail on its own I can buy in conjunction to the HM40975 or anoter kit like the PK11898 that is a 7 + 4 set up? Thanks for the insight.

You can use a pigtail harness to connect to your existing 6-pin connector wiring and then simply plug the round U.S. Car connector end into the back of the 4-pole/7-way. We offer part # HM40975-11998 which is a pigtail-to-U.S. Car harness # 11998 along with the 4-pole/7-way # HM40975.
The kit includes the butt connectors you'll use to connect the vehicle and harness wire leads. A circuit tester like # PTW2993 is helpful to identify the function carried on each vehicle wire since wire colors alone are not a reliable method for making connections.
